You can issue a visa at Bole International Airport only if  you are a passport holder of one of the following tourist generating countries:  

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea Republic, Kuwait, Luxembourg Mexico Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States.

 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all tourists should possess sufficient foreign currency that would help them to stay in the country. Not less than 100 USD/hundred American dollars/and two passport size photographs are needed to process business/tourist visa requests upon arrival.
